Job Description

The role
We’re looking for an experienced and proven Senior Sales Exec to join our growing Sales team in our new offices New York. You will be joining our team of experienced sales people who have built and run successful startup sales teams before.

You will run a full sales cycle from open to close, targeting the world’s leading brands and expanding the footprint of YOOBIC across the North American market.

What you’ll do day to day:
• You will work with Marketing and Business Development to build strong lead generation / demand generation campaigns
• You will run a full process within your territory - from pipeline creation, to consulting with potential clients on issues facing their business and how our solutions can help, to negotiating pricing and closing deals, all with the guidance & support from our CRO and Head of Sales
• You will report on your activities weekly and forecast your pipeline towards quarterly targets

Preferable skills
• You will have worked in business development in your early sales career
• You will be data driven and understand the concept of a numbers driven pipeline
• You will have used Salesforce or a similar CRM before
• You will have worked in the retail space and have good contacts within the North American market

Preferred Experience

What you’ll bring to the team:
• You have worked in a full cycle sales role, ideally within a software or SaaS environment
• You will have consistently hit target in your previous roles and will be able to show evidence of this
• You will be able to draw upon your consulting experience and translate that into a sales position
• You will be passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, digital and new technologies and be keen to build something new
• You will understand new concepts quickly and possess the ability to explain them with ease
• You will think commercially and be able to creatively spot opportunities
• You will show evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You will be a self starter and passionate about driving growth into a new market
• You will have a thirst to learn and develop your skills and take feedback well
• You will be an English native or fluent English speaker and have experience selling into the UK market
• You will thrive at building new relationships and will act as a mentor for more junior members of the team
