Job Description

The Role
The main purpose of this role is to be in charge of all client requests regarding Image Recognition. YOOBIC has indeed developed its own in-house IR technology to help field users of our YOOBIC Operations application tracking presence of products in-store.

You'll be required to take responsibility in the implementation/creation of IR algorithms and various testing activities, as detailed in the key accountabilities, with a primary objective to guarantee an excellent quality of the IR algorithms we are delivering to clients.

What you'll do
You'll intervene at each major step of the training of the algorithm being the key contact of all the stakeholders:

  • You'll work closely with the Customer Success team and the Back-end team converting the client IR requests forwarded by the CS team into technical specifications for the Back-end team
    • Check the quality of all the deliverables sent by clients that will serve as input for the algorithm training. For each training the deliverables are :
      • Pictures of shelves (around 300): verify for each picture the quality (size) and if it respects the guidelines on how to take good pictures
      • List of Skus to track: verify the consistency of data
      • List of KPIs to create: verify the consistency of data
      • Packshots of the Skus we need to track: verify the quality of the packshots
    • Prepare standardized briefs based on the client deliverables for the Back-end team
    • Supervise the manual annotation phase which is a major step in the algorithm training process: for each picture of shelves, verify if the manual annotation is right
    • Set the algorithms in production for clients to use them
  • You'll be responsible for all the quality checks regarding new and existing algorithms
  • As the only Image Recognition project manager, you will work on the optimisation of internal processes to accelerate the algorithm creation timeline*
